The 7th edition of the Internet of Things Event will take place on the 8th of June at High Tech Campus Eindhoven, The Netherlands. During the Parallel Session "Technology", Tim Mace, Imagination Technologies, will talk about “Security by Separation: the future for connected devices”

Many connected products have been designed with little thought to security. For those devices that do employ hardware security, applications are often placed into a single zone, where it is possible they could compromise each other. What is needed are embedded solutions that are built from the ground up with a separation based architecture rooted in hardware, where each application and operating system works independently in its own trusted and isolated environment.

In the same session Ed Zalmstra, MRV Communications, will talk about “IOT behind the scenes”, while Marcel Pol, from Rittal, will tackle “IoT on the Edge” and Erik van Maanen, Radio Communications Agency Netherlands will speak about on “Spectrum demand for the internet of things”.

The conference program include keynote speakers from Dutch Datacenter Association, Cisco, Huawei and 6 parallel sessions focused on: The role of Datacenters for IoT | Smart Systems – the Internet of Things ecosystem (powered by DSP Valley, 2 sessions) | Technology | From privacy to secured networks | What is your position in the value chain?
