CMOS linear image sensor is aimed at sorting machines

Hamamatsu Photonics S13488 CMOS linear image sensor features electronic shutter and gain switching functionalities, as well as high sensitivity in the red, green and blue wavelength ranges of visible light.

The S13488 has a sensitivity range of 400 to 1000nm and supports a 10MHz maximum video data rate with its built-in timing generator, allowing operation with only start and clock pulse. The device is suitable for image reading, as well as various colour detection applications.
