Engineers wanted on salaries up to £60k

Titan IC Systems Ltd. (Belfast, Northern Ireland), a company that develops hardware engines for content and network processing, is seeking software engineers, a senior quality assurance engineer and field applications engineers.

The software engineering positions are at the principal and senior level with annual salaries of up to £60,000 (about €72,000) and £50,000 (about €60,000) respectively.

The hardware engines Titan IC offers include a Regular Expression Processor (RXP) and a Parallel String Matcher (PSM) for use in network security including: intrusion detection/prevention, application detection, anti-virus, content and URL filtering.

The company originally posted the jobs on its website on June 27 with a deadline for the submission of CVs on Thursday June 30. However, the company then issued a press release on June 30 advertizing the jobs. The company said in the press release that it is also seeking field application engineers.

The firm said it would add the new roles to its existing strong workforce to support its current and new product development plans.   Titan IC Systems (TICS) is a spin-out from the Centre for Secure Information Technology (CSIT) at Queen's University Belfast, a £15 million world-class center with a unique focus on cybersecurity, strategic and industrial research projects.  

"As we see greater demand for our solutions, we are seeking to grow our talented team" said CEO Noel McKenna, in the statement.

Titan IC Systems span out of the Centre for Secure Information Technology (CSIT) at Queen's University Belfast, in 2007.
