Their particularly low component heights of 3.92 and 3.33mm enable them to be used in the smallest of electronic assemblies. The newly developed housing design reduces the formation of shadows and thus opens new design possibilities in light planning and implementation. The key feature of the new terminals is a patented contact design with a funnel-shaped opening area that guides the conductor to the clamping point, guaranteeing both secure contact and simple operation. These LED terminal blocks are available in 1, 2 and 3 pole versions. Equipped with the screwless connection technology, the terminals are designed for cables with wire cross sections from 0.13 to 0.33mm2 (AWG 26 to AWG 22). The integrated actuating slider allows fixed wire and multi-strand wires to be conveniently connected whilst simultaneously saving time. The contact material is a copper alloy with a tin plating over a nickel barrier layer. The insulating body is made from high-temperature resistant plastic according to UL 94 V-0. The teminal blocks are designed for a dielectric strength of 1000 V and a current rating of up to 4 A. Safe functionality is guaranteed within a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C.
