MEMS expands into 3D earth magnetic field sensors
Broadening from automotive to mobile/consumer applications, these devices become more cost sensitive. The latest MT MEMS equipment not only continues Multitest’s modular MEMS concept, but also responds to the trend of multiple DOF (degrees of freedom) test. Among others, it can be combined with low-g accelerometer test.
In addition to being an alternative to using the earth’s magnetic field, the application also can be configured with external magnetic coils. The configuration provides high magnetic force at the highest accuracy.
The new equipment for 3D earth magnetic field sensor tests has been in high volume production for several months now. The field proven performance confirms Multitest’s leading expertise in MEMS test.
