The LTC5562 is a low power, high performance active double-balanced mixer capable of 50Ω matching over a very wide frequency range of 30MHz to 7GHz. 40V Input, 3.5A Silent Switcher µModule Regulator for Automotive & Industrial Applications

The LTM8003 is a wide input and output range step-down µModule® regulator featuring the Silent Switcher® architecture. Inputs from 3.4V to 40V can produce outputs from 0.97V to 18V, eliminating the need for intermediate regulation from batteries or industrial supplies. The pinout is specifically designed to be FMEA compliant, so the output stays at or below the regulation voltage during adjacent pin shorts, single pin shorts to ground or pins left floating.

The LT8672 is an active rectifier controller that (along with a MOSFET) provides reverse current protection and rectification for power supplies in automotive environments. This Design Note explains how this job is traditionally taken on by a Schottky diode. The LT8672’s active protection has a number of advantages such as minimal power dissipation and a small, predictable, regulated 20mV voltage drop.

Active Rectifier Controller with Reverse Protection

As the current level continues to increase in automotive electronic systems, designers can no longer use conventional blocking Schottky diodes due to high power dissipation and thermal issues. This video shows the LT8672 active rectifier controller with reverse current protection that can replace the diode. The LT8672 operates at the input range between 3V and 42V with only 20µA quiescent current. It protects the load against reverse input voltages up to –40V.

42V Quad Output, Triple Monolithic Synchronous Buck Converter & Boost Controller

The LT8603 is a 42V input capable, high efficiency quad output monolithic switching regulator. Its flexible design combines a boost controller with two high voltage 2.5A and 1.5A synchronous step-down channels and a lower voltage 1.8A synchronous step-down channel to provide four independent outputs. The LT8603 can be configured with the boost controller to supply the input of the buck converters, enabling it to deliver three precisely regulated outputs.

The LTM4662 is a dual 15A or single 30A step-down µModule regulator with an exposed stacked inductor for improved thermal dissipation properties. The remaining components, the MOSFETs, DC/DC controller and supporting components, are overmolded and the complete device is housed in a 11.25mm x 15mm x 5.74mm BGA package. With limited airflow, the LTM4662 is easily cooled because the inductor transfers heat from the power stage to the surrounding ambient air.
