The CameraCubeChip’s easy-to-use, drop-in compatibility and excellent low-light performance make it suitable for front-facing camera applications in smartphones, tablets and notebooks. The OVM7675 is built on OmniVision’s OmniPixel3-HS technology, delivering a low-light sensitivity of 1800 mV/(Lux-sec) for operation in challenging lighting conditions. The device supports VGA video at 30 frames per second, and full-frame sub-sampled or windowed 8-bit images in a wide range of formats. It can be controlled through the Serial Camera Control Bus (SCCB) interface.
