10.2″ intelligent LCD features built-in flash for graphics, animations, fonts or text templates
The company’s "Next Generation Intelligent LCD" (iLCD) technology allows users to store all graphics, animations, fonts, text templates and macros in the flash memory of the iLCD. Graphics and proprietary files can be also stored on an on-board MicroSD card.
Overall development time can be drastically reduced by eliminating the pixel-based programming required for conventional LCDs. Color iLCD panels are available with touch screens in a wide range of formats from 2.8" (240 x 320 pixel) up to 10.2" (1024 x 600 pixel).
The integrated iLCD controller offers powerful and easy to learn high-level commands. Formatting text messages with Windows fonts, displaying static and animated graphics, drawing frames and lines and controlling the touch screen can all be done quickly and simply via Ethernet, USB, RS232, I²C or SPI interfaces. The first enhanced iLCD panel DPP-CT1060A (10.2") comes with a new state-of-the-art processor DPC3090, a considerably brighter display and significantly increased flash memory of 128MB. While fully compatible to its predecessor DPP-CT1060, execution times and transmission rates have been improved by over 50%. The Windows-based Integrated Development Environment (IDE) iLCD Manager XE makes it easy to design applications for touch screen iLCD panels. New features include Parameter Completion and Syntax Checking/Highlighting. No programming skills are required.
