10-A switching POL regulator offers space saving benefits
The SRS10A-12 regulator is specifically designed to provide 10 A of output current over a tightly regulated output voltage range of 0.75 to 5.0 VDC at efficiency levels up to 95%.
The SRS10A-12 operates over a wide input range of 8.3 to 14 VDC. The output is user adjustable (by the simple addition of an external resistor) over a range of 0.75 to 5.0 VDC. Standard features include efficiency as high as 95%, 0.5% maximum line/load regulation, very low noise operation and a fast transient response time. The SRS10A-12 includes thermal, overload and short circuit protection circuits as well as a remote on/off control. It is approved to EN 60950 and the MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) is 980 khours.
The SR10A-12 is fabricated on a compact Single-Inline-Package (SIP) PC board with an industry standard pin-out. It is specified for operation over the wide industrial temperature range of -40 to +85°C.
