January 1, 2025 marks the first day of the United Nations’ International Year of Quantum Science and Technology!
The goal of this initiative is to increase public awareness of the importance of quantum science and its applications.
💡 Why 2025? It recognizes 100 years since the initial development of quantum mechanics—a milestone that laid the foundation for the quantum technologies we are building today.
🔎 The timing could not be better: the path toward real-world quantum applications is accelerating rapidly, not just in quantum computing but even more so in quantum internet and networking.
