The need for higher data speeds in the automotive industry is increasing so that feature-rich ADAS data as well as connected vehicle data can be supported. The two-wire full duplex signaling 100BASET1 PAM3 is the interface bus that meets these requirements. For this purpose, Prodigy Technovations has developed the PGY-100BASET1-PA Automotive Ethernet Protocol Analyzer, which accesses the on-board bus through passive tap and records the Ethernet packets with a high-resolution time stamp. PGY-100BASET1-PA enables design and validation designers to accurately characterize the timing problems between master and slave control units.

Central functions of the PGY-100BASET1-PA include protocol decoding and analysis of the 100BaseT1 bus, passive eavesdropping for non-intrusive monitoring of this bus; the decoding of T10 sleep and wake events from master and slave; The continuous streaming of protocol activities SSD / HDD enables the long-term recording of protocol data as well as the simultaneous monitoring of 100BaseT1 and MDIO / MDC protocol activities.
