From AC/DC (input spanning 85 to 264 VAC) and DC/DC (input of 100 to 300 VDC) input ranges, a 24 VDC output voltage is generated. The contact-cooled devices are ruggedly designed and have a power-good signal as well as an active PFC. Further features are an efficiency of 92.5%, an operating temperature of -40 to +70 °C, remote control and 150% power boost.

Isolation conforms to overvoltage category OV 3 enabling use in applications with high transients such as energy technology. The vacuum encapsulated power supplies offer reliable protection against condensation, conductive dust and other environmental conditions. They are connected via industrial connectors enabling use as a plug-and-play power in sensitive electronic sub-systems. Due to the rugged design in BPC technology, it is possible to reduce the power loss via heat dissipation while increasing the life-time of the devices.

The PCMAT150 S24 is the basis for further power ranges and output voltages which will complete the portfolio of this series in 2017. The range will be shown at the electronica trade fair, hall A2, stand 328.
