The power amplifier offers 18 W of saturated output power from 2.7 to 3.5 GHz. Small signal gain is >30.5 dB and input return loss is rated at >11 dB. The TGA2830-SM draws 225 mA from a 20 to 32 V bias supply with >54% power added efficiency (PAE). Serving commercial and military radar, the TGA2830-SM comes in a 5- x 5-mm, plastic QFN.
