Using gallium nitride-on-silicon (GaN-on-Si) process technology, the new white LEDs have low forward voltage (VF) and can contribute to lower power consumption and cost reductions in lighting applications.

Forward voltages are 2.85V at 350 mA (TL1L2-Series) and 5.76V at 100 mA (TL3GB-Series). Luminous efficacy for the TL1L2-Series is 135 lm/W (5000K, Ra70) at 1W operation (If = 350 mA); for the TL3GB-Series it is 118 lm/W(5000K, Ra80) at 0.6W operation (If = 100 mA). Colour variation of six colour temperatures is 2700K to 6500K.
