24 signal and power contacts in one single IP68 sealed connector
The device houses a unique combination of 24 signal and power contacts in one single connector; twenty signal contacts (0.5A) and four power contacts (5A), saving more than 40% space compared with a standard Fischer connector of similar pin count. The connector’s ergonomic rugged design and minimised size make it convenient to manipulate (even with gloves) for end-users. It is equipped with durable keying as well as visual colour coding to avoid misconnection, as expected for defence and security applications. It also incorporates Fischer Connectors’ circular push-pull locking system and is IP68 rated, even unmated. The unit withstands over 5000 mating cycles. This circular interconnect solution is particularly suited for ruggedized devices designed for handheld or body-worn applications.
