The units provide a single, regulated output of 12 Vdc, 24 Vdc, 48 Vdc, 72 Vdc, 110 Vdc or 125 Vdc. A DC-input version, which offers a 95-350 Vdc input range, is also available. Typical conversion efficiency is 80% at full load.

The power supplies are designed for operation in extreme environments. The units are fully encapsulated with a thermally conductive MIL-grade silicon rubber compound with a UL94V-0 flammability rating to ensure protection from high levels of shock and vibration, moisture and other contaminants. The devices also meet environmental criteria as requested in MIL-810C, D. Conduction cooling via the baseplate enables operation within a -40°C to +70°C temperature range for full specification with no derating required.

The power factor is corrected to a minimum of 0.97 at full load for the entire input range in compliance with EN6100-3-2 for low input harmonic distortion. The power supplies are filtered to meet EN55022 EMI Class A with generous margins. Filtering to meet Class B is available on request. Full electronic protection on the input and output includes 4300 Vdc input/output isolation, overload, overvoltage, short-circuit protection and thermal shutdown with auto-resetting.
