2A switching regulator has up to 96% efficiency
The R-78Bxx-2.0 series offers a broad spectrum of output voltages spanning from 1.2VDC up to 15VDC and input voltages of up to 32VDC.
At 96% efficiency, very little energy is lost through heat. Up to 30 watts of power are provided over a temperature range from -40 to +70°C without the need for heatsinks, reducing mounting costs and saving space. Tight output regulation protects against any sudden change in input voltage and keeps interference levels low and output voltage stable. The L-Version with 90° pins allows direct replacement for horizontally-mounted regulators where component height is critical. A short-circuit protection, low ripple and noise figures, and a 50mA input current under short-circuit conditions round off the specifications of this versatile converter series. All modules are certified to IEC/EN62368-1 and EN55022 with a CB report, and come with a three-year warranty.
