2Mpixel CMOS image sensor for scanning, barcode reading
The sensor combines full HD resolution with 2.8-micron by 2.8-micron pixels and a global shutter.
The fast and accurate performance enables high throughput in logistics, sorting, retail POS, and many other associated verticals. The Snappy is also suitable for drones/UAVs, embedded imaging, IoT edge devices, intelligent surveillance cameras and augmented reality/virtual reality.
The device is in 1/3-inch physical format with a signal-to-noise ratio at low light that allows reduced illumination costs. There is a high dynamic range mode of operation as well as single and multiple region-of-interest (ROI) modes for tracking simultaneous image regions.
Samples and demo kits are now available.
