The company positions itself as a long term provider of 3.3 Volt SDRAMs, bucking the trend of lower voltage memory chips and ready to replace Micron’s offering who recently announced the ‘end of life’ of its announcement of 3.3 Volt 512Mbit SDRAM chips.

The pin-outs, timings, and functionalities are JEDEC-compliant. I’M offers its new SDRAM products in commercial or industrial temperature ranges, and in addition to the standard 54-Pin TSOP-II package for SDRAM, all products are also orderable in a very small 8x8mm 54 ball FBGA package. The 256Mbit part comes in x8 and x16 configurations, while the 512Mbit parts come as a x16.
