The accelerometers provide the necessary noise performance of 0.5µG/√Hz typical (servo accelerometer class) along with outstanding durability, high shock resistance to 1,200 G and a wide dynamic range of 27 bits. Both the M-A552AC1 and M-A552AR1 are housed in metal packages that provide IP67-equivalent protection against water and dust for use in structure health monitoring and other industrial applications. The communication interfaces also make it easy to build multi-node (multi-point) measurement systems, synchronized measurement systems, and other complex, sophisticated measurement systems. The 65x60x30mm parts operate from 9 to 32V and only draw 35 and 49mA at 12V, respectively.
