The 1736 and 1738 capture and log voltage, current, power, harmonics, and associated power-quality values for performing load studies, energy assessments, and harmonic measurements. Their supplied Energy Analyze Plus software not only provides detailed analysis of energy consumption and power quality, but also generates reports automatically.

The 1736 is intended for basic energy and power-quality studies, while the 1738 provides more advanced power-quality logging capabilities. The 1738’s Quality Health Summary (EN50160) function gives fast insight into overall electrical system health.

Each power logger features an optimised user interface, flexible current probes, and an intelligent measurement-verification function that reduces measurement errors by digitally verifying and correcting common connection errors. Setup is further simplified by powering the logger directly from the measured circuit. More here and here.
