Designed with solid connection wires, the buzzer assembly is designed for direct use on a 12V or 24V car battery with an internal trigger function to avoid unwanted activation.
The device delivers up to 90 dB and operates from 7.5Vdc to 40Vdc while drawing a maximum of 15mA. It is IP67 rated (dust and waterproof) and operates in the -40 to +85°C temperature range. The buzzer only starts when the trigger DC voltage has been reached, with the SVC 7I and SVC 7C units starting sounding from 7.5V dc and the SVC 15I and SVC 15C starting sounding from 15.75V dc upwards.
