Applications on display included a position sensor for adaptive cruise control and a robot hand which simulates the human gripping processes.
3D-MID technology enables the building of integrated electronic devices with a small footprint. One of the projects on display was a new position sensor for adaptive cruise control systems, which automatically regulates the safe distance to the vehicle in front. The 3D-MID solution reduced the size of the ACC while achieving greater precision.
