3D printers ease product personalization
For the da Vinci 1.0 Pro 3-in-1 printer, XYZprinting now offers an optional laser engrave module: It can replace the extruder and enables makers to engrave logos, signatures and other visual elements to the objects printed with the machine. Likewise, the laser module can be used apply engravings to wood, leather or cardboard objects.
In addition, the printer now comes with a high-resolution 3D scanner that generates objects in industry standard resolution within minutes. Other features are an aluminum plate that enables an even thermal emission during the printing process, a low-maintenance extruder design and improved calibration for professional results.
The Professional versions of the machines are now compatible with vendor-neutral filaments that enables makers to utilize PLA or ABS thermoplastics of their choice.
