3U VPX power line conditioner provides DC-DC holdup
The VPX55-3HU power line conditioner protects downstream DC-DC converters from MIL-STD 704B through F transients, low voltage conditions and power interruptions, and provides up to 50 milliseconds of holdup time at 500W.
It is designed to meet standard 3U VPX, VITA 62 mechanical requirements with a 0.8″ or 1.0″ power supply slot, and is a designed as a companion unit for all NAI VPX 28 VDC DC-DC converters with NAVMAT component derating for rugged defence and industrial applications. The input power required is 28Vdc.
“The VPX55-3HU is a COTS solution for VITA 46.0 and VITA 65 systems,” said Lino Massafra, VP of Sales and Marketing at NAI. “It is designed to work with NAI’s VPX55-3 family of DC-DC Converters and provides the rugged construction and resistance to harsh environmental conditions required for military and aerospace equipment.”
