Available in a 3-Watt version drawing 250mA, and a 5-Watt version drawing 500mA, the device solves the issues around colour-mixing by combining all four dies in a wall washer luminaire. The device uses an eutectic-bonding packaging technique on a ceramic base, offering a stronger cohesion, a smaller coefficient of expansion, and more stability with an air-tight package for tough outdoor applications. The package’s thermal conductivity is rated to 160W/mK.
