Developed for use in hybrid PXIe-based test systems, this 3HE controller can be booted in single core mode with turbo boost up to 3.4 GHz. If the system is configured accordingly, data throughput of up to 8 GB/sec is possible. It has two USB 3.0 ports, two Gigabit Ethernet ports (one for LAN and the other for controlling LXI measurement instruments), two monitor connections and an integrated GBIP controller. Trigger I/Os for advanced PXI trigger functions and a programmable RS-232/422/485 interface are also present. Acceed offers the controller either with pre-installed SATA HDD of 500GB or with SSD of 240GB.

The high availability required for reliable test systems is also achieved with the double BIOS backup. If the main BIOS has crashed, the system boots from the secondary BIOS and automatically restores the main BIOS. This can avoid costs and work for servicing. The full metal housing improves electromagnetic compatibility.

For example, the new Adlink controller forms an extremely high performance, reliable and secure system for applications under industrial conditions with its 3-HE chassis PXES-2780 and 18 slots.
