42-W adjustable, constant current, LED drivers focus on indoor LED lighting applications
The LUC-042SxxxDSW(SSW) series includes 14 different models with output currents ranging from 350 to 2100 mA. Regardless of the output current, each model offers a full load efficiency of 87-90%. The products all operate over a 90-305 Vac input range and provide excellent power factor correction (0.96 at 120 V and 0.95 at 220 V). The new series is approved to CE (EN), UL, CUL, FCC, ENEC, CB, and CQC’s standards. All of these drivers are housed in plastic cases with IP20 rating.
The high efficiency and thermal design of these drivers enables the products to run cooler, significantly improving reliability and extending product life. The lifetime of the drivers is calculated at about 80,500 hours when operating at 80% load with a case temperature of 60°C.
The LUC-042SxxxDSW(SSW) is the independent product, which is positioned for the dimmable down light and panel light projects. In order to insure trouble-free operation in these applications the product family also features robust lightning protection as well as over-voltage, over-temperature, short-circuit protection and dimming control. The LUC-042SxxxDSW(SSW) performs at PF> 0.90, THD< 20% even under the circumstance of 75% load.
