5.0-inch WVGA TFT features ‘IPS like’ performance
Many embedded, medical and industrial applications demand colour homogeneity to ensure display images are colourful and concise. KOE’s UWVA displays provide ‘IPS like’ (In-plane switching) optical performance to provide stable colour uniformity over a wide viewing angle of 80 degrees in all directions (up/down, left/right). Excellent optical performance is achieved with a brightness specification of 800cd/m², a contrast ratio of 400:1 and an anti-glare polariser film. The LED backlight has a specified 50K hour lifetime to half brightness.
A 40-pin CMOS interface supports 6-bit RGB which enables a colour palette of up to 262K. The 5-0-inch module features compact mechanical outline dimensions of 120.0×80.7×8.0mm and an active display area of 108.0×64.8mm. Operation in harsh environments is supported with an operating and storage temperature range of -30°C to +80°C.
