Teledyne FLIR has launched its next generation camera platform and imaging software for industrial automation.
Teledyne FLIR IIS brings together imaging expertise, deep factory automation knowledge and new camera hardware based on the Sony IMX547 sensor with a 5Gbit interface.

Spinnaker 4 is the next-generation GeniCam3 API library for machine vision developers to evaluate, test, and deploy products. The software release includes advancements in GigE camera performance and reliability andperformance testing, including operating imaging systems with 40 GigE cameras continuously for multiple days at a time, resulted in no incomplete images.
The Forge hardware platform uses Spinnaker’s new software architecture and is available in a variety of models across multiple sensors. Forge is designed to easily build robust and powerful imaging systems that go beyond 5GigE performance and control data transfer to the host. The FG-P5G-50S4C-C is a 5.0 MPixel system using the Sony IMX547 colour sensor with speeds up to 122 frame/s.
