The new PMS has a high resolution, with a 0.5mm detector aperture. All these devices can be reflow soldered to be assembled to the board in a single step along with other standard components. The surface mounting EE-SX1350 is also 65% smaller than the existing terminal style with overall dimensions of just 8.8×4×9mm. It comes with a choice of photo-transistor outputs.
