The router has six CAN-FD channels, four digital inputs and outputs, and one analog input. There is 16 gigabytes of internal memory and a slot for an additional SD card for recording. In addition, a backup battery can be used to ensure a controlled switch-off in case of a power interruption. PEAK-System also offers various hardware options. For example, the PCAN-Router Pro FD can be equipped with an Ethernet or BroadR-Reach interface as well as alternative transceiver modules for each CAN channel.
The behavior of the PCAN-Router Pro FD is freely programmable using the C/C++ programming language. Numerous examples from the included SDK demonstrate the implementation of the various functions and make it easy to develop your own application.
