The 7“ TFT screen measures only 165×104.4×8.2mm and can also be easily integrated into applications with space restrictions such as mobile terminals. The particularly efficient LED-Backlight has a typical power consumption of only 2.16W has also got an outstanding long lifetime of 70.000h (until half brightness). As a special option, Kyocera is offering an integrated touchpanel using glass-glass-technology (“Inner Touch”) where the TFT polarizer is located on the outside of the touchpanel. This special design reduces the reflections between the top side of the display and the underside of the touchpanel considerably. This results in improved readability especially in bright light conditions.
