802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and NFC features combined in one module
Aimed at vehicles and commercial environments, the WiBear 11ac module combines the most-used wireless standards in an easy-to-integrate unit for automotive applications. It provides the necessary bandwidth for in-vehicle video streaming applications.
The WLAN 802.11 ac standard allows data to be supplied to several displays with a resolution of up to 1080p. As a dual frequency module, the WiBear 11ac also makes it possible to use the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band simultaneously for communications. Video data can therefore be transmitted on the 5 GHz band without interference from other applications.
With Bluetooth 4.0 LE and NFC, the module provides two other communication standards that allow consumer devices to connect more easily with the vehicle. The WiBear 11ac operates in the -40 to +85°C temperature range and has a guaranteed availability of over 6 years.
