
802.11ax concurrent dual Wi-Fi for connected vehicles
The 88Q9098 solution has gigabit-level performance, good reliability and enhanced security. The concurrent dual Wi-Fi architecture integrates two complete Wi-Fi subsystems into a single SoC, and allows two separate 2×2 data streams to operate at full throughput at the same time.
The 88Q9098 SoC includes 802.11p for V2V communication, Bluetooth Low Energy Long Range for connectivity up to 500 meters, and customisable firmware for product differentiation. The 88Q9098 also meets automotive AEC-Q100 grade 2 operation from -40C up to +105C.
