The HV2808 serves as a sixteen-pole, double throw (16PDT), high voltage switch array. Using Supertex’s proprietary HVCMOS technology, the IC efficiently controls analog signals with low power CMOS logic and high voltage bilateral DMOS switches. It features a very low quiescent current of 10uA for low heat dissipation and a DC analog signal frequency to 50MHz for wide bandwidth response for any type of ultrasound probe. The device does not emit any audible noise and it can switch from one probe to another in about 30us. It comes in an 8x8x1mm QFN-56 package.
