Advantech and IIJ partner to launch Industrial IoT platform
The partnership will see the two companies jointly launch WISE-PaaS in Japan alongside a new service called »WISE-PaaS JP». They will integrate with IIJ´s secure network and cloud services. The new service is planned to be available from January 2020.
The WISE-PaaS IIoT platform was launched in 2016, and it is intended to collect diverse real-time data from industrial computers and manufacturing equipment. Through visualization of the collected data, the platform tracks operations, and performs remote monitoring and predictive maintenance.
IIJ is a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) with closed mobile networks and closed connections to allow secure private cloud environments and services. The combination of Advantech’s platform and IIJ’s cloud offerings will provide a one-stop solution of integrated applications, hardware, cloud service, network connectivity, and security.
