For IoT developers and system integrators, the Advantech IoT gateway starter kit offers a flexible option to develop and implement innovative, cost-effective and secure IoT solutions for a broad range of industrial applications. Containing powerful, ready-to-use modules, it enables connecting existing installations as well as devices and sensors. In addition, it facilitates unifying a diversity of protocols to the IoT standard MQTT and the IoT application development for data streaming, analysis and predictive solutions.
The product comes with a pre-configured system that includes an Intel Celeron J1900 SoC, 4GByte of RAM and 500 GByte of fixed disk storage. It is available with two different gateways that have been pre-verified within Microsoft’s Azure ‘Certified for IoT’ program. Users can chose between the ultra-compact model ARK-1123H and model ARK-212L with multiple I/O options. Both versions are designed for operation in rough environments and offer good networking scalability. Besides the turnkey gateway solution, the product includes a selection of software including WISE-PaaS/RMM (professional version) enabling remote monitoring of IoT devices as well as management software for data administration, platform control and security (Intel Security McAfee).
