Advantech signs worldwide distribution agreement with Acronis
The two companies have collaborated over the last 8 years, initially through a system and software bundling. Since then, the companies have developed integrated solutions for the industrial field. Now the partnership is moving into distribution using Acronis´ range of cyber protection solutions.
Advantech has previously equipped its devices with WISE-PaaS software with Acronis cyber protection technology. It will now integrate its backup offerings into WISE-PaaS/DeviceOn to provide Acronis solutions built into Advantech’s boards, systems, and an OPAL-enabled backup option working with SQFlash, Advantech´s brand of SSDs.
Acronis´ cyber protection solutions address the five vectors of cyber protection—safety, accessibility, privacy, authenticity, and security (SAPAS). This provides users with data that is secure while being easily accessible and recoverable.
