
AI camera learns new objects just by clicking
The HuskyLens AI camera, says the company, is designed to enhance innovation for makers and individuals who strive to be both the creators and consumers of tech. It can learn to detect objects, faces, and colors just by clicking; the more it learns, the smarter it is, says the company.

HuskyLens’ AI technology, says the company, is designed to save creators’ time from the jargon-heavy image-processing algorithms. Through the ‘knowledge’ acquisition of each image capture it provides a seamless user experience.
HuskyLens adopts a new generation of AI – the specialized Kendryte K210 chip powered by a 400-MHz dual core RISC-V 64bit processor – and has an algorithmic processing speed that is 1,000 times faster than most similar products on the market, says the company, reading up to 30 frames per second. Targeting makers, the camera is compatible with a variety of application development boards including Arduino, Raspberry Pi, LattePanda, and micro:bit.
HuskyLens is now available for backing on Kickstarter with the standard version starting at $29.90.
