
AI-for-EDA startup raises funds from Cambridge ‘accelerator’
Deeptech Labs, is a startup accelerator founded in Cambridge with the backing of ARM, Cambridge Innovation Capital and the University of Cambridge amongst others.
As well as minor financing, usually in return for 5 to 20 percent equity, the companies receive a three-month development programme and access to mentors. These include some of the founders and chief executives of ARM, CSR and Imagination Technologies.
The first product from Circuit Mind, founded in 2018, is ACE which automatically generates, optimises, maintains and redesigns component selection and electronic schematics. The team is working on enabling ACE to generate PCB layouts. Circuit Mind is also providing PCB design as a service, making use of its ACE tool.
Circuit Mind was founded by Tomide Adesanmi, CEO and Basilio Gentile, CTO.
