The industrial PCs that make up the AVA-5500 AI range are already used successfully in many applications, especially in the rail industry. What has been added is software and sophisticated analysis algorithms that allow the systems are able to generate warnings and alarms automatically and provide information on potential dangers.

The AVA-5520 model is powered by 6th and 7th generation Intel i7 processors and supported by the Nvidia Quadro P5000 MXM 3.1 graphics processor. The model provides a reliable, high-performance platform for industrial video and graphics analysis applications. It offers eight M12-GbE ports, four with PoE, for the connection of high-resolution cameras. The GbE ports are situated on the front of the PC’s case. It also has four serial DB-9 sockets, four USB 3.0 ports and two 1000 base T RJ45 Ethernet interfaces on the front side of the small full-metal casing.

High-resolution graphics output is achieved through the two CPU display ports, four GPU display ports and a DVI connector. The PC supports up to 32 Gbyte memory and has two internal SATA slots for 2.5” hard drives. A CFast base and an M.2 base (2280) are also accessible externally. WLAN and mobile communication (LTE, UMTS, GSM) modules can be added through the two internal mini PCIe slots, each with a respective USIM slot.

The AVA-5520 was designed for use in industrial applications and can operate under the temperature range from -25 to +70 °C. Windows 10 and Ubuntu 16.04 operating systems are supported. Power consumption at 100% load of the CPU and graphics card P5000 is 177 W.

Several other models are available in the range with different equipment.
