Aldec adds IBM Requirements Engineering DOORS Next.integration

By eeNews Europe

IBM Requirements Engineering DOORS Next is commonly used by system engineers. The integration with Spec-TRACER provides hardware teams with immediate visibility of changes to the functional specification and makes meeting the traceability requirements of safety standards such as DO-254 and ISO26262 much easier. Spec-TRACER captures IBM DOORS Next artifacts and traceability data and exports the relationships between requirements and hardware design data back to DOORS.

The 2020.3 release also allows forcing the same parser settings on to all Spec-TRACER users within a team and the ability to disable requirements coverage verification during the capture process.

Spec-TRACER’s reports can also now include IBM DOORS artifacts alongside other design, verification and traceability data.
