Alibaba, Infineon partner on IoT
Infineon, a pioneer of Industry 4.0, will provide semiconductor technology and combine it with the Alibaba Cloud and Alibaba IoT operating system, AliOS Things, and provide technical services.
As part of the collaboration, the two parties the planning, implementation and security standards of the IoT. The two companies also plan to collaborate on e-commerce channels.
“Sustainable growth in mainland China is one of Infineon’s most important development strategies, and is also our long-term goal in the Chinese market,” said David Poon, vice president of power management and multimarket for Infineon in Greater China.
