Alpha and Omega Semiconductor claims best-in-class power MOSFETs for portable applications
The combined benefits of longer battery life and a compact form factor make these devices ideal for space-constrained portable applications such as tablet PCs, smart phones, eReaders, notebook computers, digital cameras and portable music players.
The AON7421 and AON7423 are best-in-class 20 V P-channel devices with the lowest R DS(ON) in the market of similar package types. AON7421’s on-resistance value at a 2.5 V gate voltage is 20% less than the closest competitive device. AON7423 is a low threshold device that operates with a gate drive as low as 1.5 V, allowing efficient load switching for low voltage supply rails.
All three devices are halogen-free and 100% UIS and Rg tested.
Availability and Pricing
The devices are immediately available in production quantities with a lead-time of 12 weeks. The unit price for 1,000 pieces is $0.70 for each device.
