Altium Designer gets powerful upgrade

Version 18 updates the user interface that is implemented across all design domains to give a common experience, which aids familiarity and adoption. The software increases performance by upgrading to 64-bit architecture and allowing multithreading. The new features and improvements include the user-guided ActiveRoute engine supporting length tuning and pin-swapping, ACTIVEBOM editor now has a new BoM rule checker that allows the inspection of each line and complex boards are easier to handle with multi-board assembly capability and real-time connection management.
