The IoT platform combines capabilities from the Axeda software of ThingWorx’ parent company PTC and combines connectivity, data storage, analytics and remote service applications. It allows companies to create applications and can be applied across a range of markets, including manufacturing, energy, agriculture, transportation, and government.
The collaboration is intended to bridge the physical and digital worlds with technologies that sense, measure and connect, Analog Devices said. "Our vision in this IoT era is to help companies harness the power of the data generated from sensors in smart, connected products," said Martin Cotter, vice president, healthcare, consumer and IoT, Analog Devices.
