Analog IC sales to hit $43 billion in 2014, says Semico

These applications have added significant volumes to analog IC unit sales and created increased need and opportunity for power management ICs.
The total analog IC revenues for 2014 is expected exceed $43 billion and chip companies will ship about 130 billion analog IC units in 2018, according to Semico Research. By 2018, power management revenues will reach $12 billion, the firm asserts.
