During LIB recycling, hydro washing and related steps can generate high levels of ionic compounds from LiPF₆ degradation and other reactions. These ions affect process quality, material purity and black mass usability.

In this application note, we present a fast ion chromatography method using the Shimadzu HIC‑ESP to quantify key anions such as fluoride, phosphate and sulfate in recycled LIB material.

Download now and experience how reliable ion analysis supports consistent black mass quality and improved LIB recycling performance.
