
Apple is finally cancelling its Titan project to build a car.
The project started in 2015 originally for a self-driving car, then refocussed in 2022 for an electric car . Now the project, which has 2,000 staff, has been officially cancelled.
The decision was shared by Chief Operating Officer Jeff Williams and Kevin Lynch the vice president in charge of the project says Bloomberg.
This follows Dyson cancelling its electric car project in 2019 after failing to find a manufacturing partner.
